The 2027 Cube Nulane Hybrid C:62 Race 400X answers a question a lot of riders ask: can an e-bike feel like a bike? A C:62 carbon frame and fork keep the weight down to 14.4kg, while Bosch’s Performance SX drive unit provides subtle, responsive assistance rather than raw power. As a result, this is an e-bike you can ride happily with the motor off, which is not something you can say about most of them.
The Bosch Performance SX drive unit delivers up to 60Nm of torque from a notably compact and light package. It responds quickly and tails off naturally, so the bike feels like it’s amplifying your pedalling rather than overriding it. The CompactTube 400 battery is fully integrated into the down tube, and the frame is PowerMore-ready, meaning you can add a 250Wh booster battery later if your rides get longer.
Cube’s C:62 Advanced Twin Mold construction produces a frame with clean lines and genuine stiffness where it counts. Gravel Endurance Geometry keeps the riding position comfortable over distance without feeling sluggish. Furthermore, there’s clearance for tyres up to 50mm even with mudguards fitted, plus rack and kickstand mounts front and rear, so the bike converts easily into a commuter or a light tourer.
A Shimano Cues 1×11 drivetrain with an 11-50T cassette provides plenty of range for hilly terrain, and it’s a groupset designed for durability rather than outright weight saving. Because it’s a single-ring setup, the cockpit stays uncluttered and there’s one less thing to adjust. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors handle stopping duties confidently in all weathers.
The Cube Rise Trail Bar gives a 720mm flat-bar position, which suits urban riding and gives confident control on unsurfaced tracks. Schwalbe G-One Allround 45mm tyres on a tubeless-ready Newmen Performance X.R.25 wheelset roll quickly on tarmac but have enough tread for gravel and forest paths. An X-Connect cable is pre-installed, so adding a compatible Acid front light is simply a matter of plugging it in.

Normally, we aim to pack up and send out your orders on the same day (especially if you order before midday) and you’ll have the option to pick which courier you’d like to use at checkout. All letters will be sent via Royal Mail and all bikes are sent using Paisley Freight. Other items have the option of Evri or Royal Mail. Delivery time is usually two or three working days from dispatch.
Small orders should arrive within 3-5 business days and bike orders can take up to 5-10 business days.
