The 2027 Cube Nuroad Hybrid C:62 EXC 400X is the top of Cube’s gravel e-bike range, and it makes a convincing case for the category. A C:62 carbon frame and fork keep the weight to 13.7kg, Bosch’s SX drive unit provides natural-feeling assistance, and SRAM’s Rival XPLR AXS gives wireless electronic shifting across 13 gears. As a result, it rides far closer to an unassisted gravel bike than the specification sheet suggests.
The Bosch Performance SX drive unit delivers up to 60Nm from a compact, lightweight housing, and its power delivery is deliberately natural rather than aggressive. The CompactTube 400 battery sits fully integrated in the down tube, with the control unit built into the top tube and a mini remote on the bars. Furthermore, the frame is PowerMore-ready, so a 250Wh booster battery can extend the range when you need it.
SRAM’s Rival XPLR AXS transmission provides wireless electronic shifting with a 10-46T cassette across 13 gears. Shifts are consistent no matter how muddy the conditions get, because there are no cables to contaminate. Because the rear derailleur is battery powered and self-contained, maintenance is minimal — a periodic charge and very little else.
Cube’s Advanced Twin Mold carbon frame uses Gravel Endurance Geometry for a position that stays comfortable over long distances. There’s clearance for tyres up to 50mm even with mudguards, plus rack mounts front and rear and a flat-mount kickstand interface. Consequently the bike works just as well as a fast all-weather commuter as it does as a weekend gravel machine.
The Newmen Evolution SL X.R.25 wheelset is tubeless ready and light for an e-bike wheelset, shod with fast-rolling Schwalbe G-One RS Pro 45mm tyres. SRAM Rival AXS hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors provide the extra stopping power the additional weight of an e-bike demands. A Newmen Advanced carbon bar and seatpost add welcome compliance at both contact points.

Normally, we aim to pack up and send out your orders on the same day (especially if you order before midday) and you’ll have the option to pick which courier you’d like to use at checkout. All letters will be sent via Royal Mail and all bikes are sent using Paisley Freight. Other items have the option of Evri or Royal Mail. Delivery time is usually two or three working days from dispatch.
Small orders should arrive within 3-5 business days and bike orders can take up to 5-10 business days.
