The 2027 Cube Nuroad SLX makes a strong argument for staying with aluminium. A SRAM Rival XPLR AXS 1×13 wireless groupset, a full C:62 carbon fork and a Newmen Performance wheelset bring the weight down to 10.1kg — lighter than plenty of carbon-framed gravel bikes. As a result, this is a bike that competes on outright performance rather than on frame material.
SRAM’s Rival XPLR AXS transmission delivers wireless electronic shifting across 13 gears with a 10-46T cassette. Because there are no gear cables, shifting stays identical whether the bike is clean or caked in winter mud, and there’s nothing to stretch or contaminate over time. Setup and gear tuning happen through the AXS app, and the derailleur battery lasts for many rides between charges.
Cube’s Aluminium 6061 T6 Superlite frame carries internal cable routing, an integrated seat post clamp and a UDH derailleur hanger. The full C:62 carbon fork reduces both weight and road buzz, and includes lowrider mounts for front luggage. Furthermore, there’s clearance for tyres up to 50mm — 45mm with mudguards — so the bike takes on winter training or bikepacking without complaint.
The Newmen Performance X.R.25 wheelset uses Centerlock hubs and is tubeless ready straight out of the box. Continental Terra Trail 45mm tyres with Shield Wall protection strike a good balance between speed on hardpack and grip in the loose. Consequently the bike feels quick without being nervous when the surface deteriorates.
SRAM Rival AXS HRD hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors provide progressive, predictable control from hoods or drops. Combined with a Cube Gravel Race Bar and an Acid Nuance Lite saddle, the cockpit is set up for fast riding over mixed terrain. It’s a coherent build with no component obviously holding the others back.

Normally, we aim to pack up and send out your orders on the same day (especially if you order before midday) and you’ll have the option to pick which courier you’d like to use at checkout. All letters will be sent via Royal Mail and all bikes are sent using Paisley Freight. Other items have the option of Evri or Royal Mail. Delivery time is usually two or three working days from dispatch.
Small orders should arrive within 3-5 business days and bike orders can take up to 5-10 business days.

Your CUBE bike is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for 2 years with effect from the date of sale. In addition, CUBE provides customers with the following warranty in the event of frame breakage outside the statutory warranty period as follows:
