Large Platform, Ultra Low Profile
The C1-IB’s nylon-reinforced composite body is built wide and flat, giving your shoe plenty of surface to grip onto whether you’re mashing out of the saddle or picking your way through a technical section. At just 19mm thick, the ultra low-profile design keeps your foot position low and your centre of gravity closer to the axle — improving stability and feel underfoot compared to chunkier, higher-stack designs. Chamfered edges around the platform also give you improved cornering clearance, so the pedal is less likely to clip rocks or berms mid-corner.
Nine Adjustable, Replaceable Pins Per Side
Grip is everything on a flat pedal, and the C1-IB gives you nine anti-slip pins per side — 18 in total — strategically positioned across the platform for maximum shoe contact. Crucially, these pins are both adjustable and replaceable: you can dial in the height to suit your shoe and riding style, and swap them out when they wear down rather than having to replace the whole pedal. It’s a small detail that makes a real difference to long-term ownership.
Built to Last, Easy to Service
At just 330g per pair, the C1-IB is impressively light for a composite flat pedal. The chrome-moly (CrMo) axle is strong and durable, while the sealed cartridge bearings keep mud and water out, running smoothly with minimal maintenance. When the pins do eventually wear, genuine ACID replacement pin sets are available separately.
