Description

ACID Pump RACE DUAL CMPT – Two-Stage Mini Pump with Auto-Select Valve Head

Experience effortless roadside inflation with the ACID Pump RACE DUAL CMPT, featuring an innovative two-stage switchable pump system, auto-select valve head technology, and ultra-compact 16cm design. This versatile aluminium mini pump delivers both high-volume and high-pressure performance with 80-120 PSI maximum capacity, automatically adapting to Presta or Schrader valves without user intervention. The dual-stage system optimises pumping efficiency whether you’re inflating large-volume mountain bike tyres or achieving higher pressures for road cycling. At just 104g with included mounting bracket, the RACE DUAL CMPT provides professional performance in an ultra-portable package.

Two-Stage Pump System – Switchable Volume and Pressure

The revolutionary two-stage pump system allows instant switching between high-volume and high-pressure modes, optimising inflation efficiency for different tyre types and pressure requirements. High-volume mode delivers maximum air transfer per stroke—ideal for quickly inflating mountain bike tyres (2.0-2.6″), gravel tyres (35-50mm), or cyclocross tyres (30-40mm) from flat to rideable pressure. Switch to high-pressure mode for efficient final inflation to target pressure on road bike tyres (23-32mm) or achieving maximum PSI on gravel setups. This intelligent dual-stage design eliminates the compromise between pumping speed and maximum pressure capability inherent in single-stage pumps.

Auto-Select Locking Head – Universal Valve Compatibility

The auto-select valve head automatically configures itself for Presta or Schrader valves without requiring manual adjustment, adapter swapping, or valve-specific settings. Simply attach the head to either valve type and begin pumping—the intelligent mechanism automatically adapts to provide secure connection and efficient air transfer. The locking mechanism ensures the head stays firmly attached during pumping, preventing accidental disconnection and pressure loss. This smart auto-select technology eliminates the frustration of lost adapters and simplifies roadside repairs, making the RACE DUAL CMPT ideal for multi-bike households or riders who switch between road and mountain bikes.

Aluminium Barrel Construction – Durable Lightweight Design

Precision-manufactured from lightweight aluminium alloy, the barrel delivers excellent durability whilst maintaining minimal weight. Aluminium construction provides superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to plastic alternatives, resisting deformation under pumping pressure and ensuring consistent performance over years of use. The rigid barrel design maximises pumping efficiency by maintaining stable compression chamber dimensions throughout the stroke. Combined with quality internal seals, the aluminium construction ensures reliable long-term performance without air leakage or pressure loss.

Ultra-Compact Dimensions – 16cm Portable Design

Measuring just 16cm (160mm) in length, the RACE DUAL CMPT fits easily in jersey pockets, frame bags, or small saddle bags without adding noticeable bulk. Despite its compact size, the pump delivers professional performance with excellent air volume per stroke. At 104g total weight (including mounting bracket), it adds minimal weight to your riding setup. The compact design makes it ideal for weight-conscious road cyclists, gravel riders prioritising packability, or mountain bikers wanting backup inflation without carrying bulky equipment.

80-120 PSI Pressure Capacity – Versatile Performance Range

The 80-120 PSI maximum pressure range handles multiple cycling disciplines effectively. For road cycling (23-32mm tyres), achieve typical target pressures of 80-100 PSI. For gravel riding (35-50mm tyres), reach optimal pressures of 40-70 PSI with reserve capacity. For cyclocross racing (30-40mm tyres), attain competition pressures of 30-50 PSI. For cross-country mountain biking (2.0-2.35″ tyres), inflate to 25-35 PSI trail pressures. The pressure range balances maximum capability with practical usability—high enough for most riding scenarios whilst remaining achievable with reasonable pumping effort.

Included Mounting Bracket – Secure Frame Attachment

Complete with mounting bracket for secure frame attachment. The bracket installs on standard bottle cage bosses or other frame mounting points, keeping the pump readily accessible during rides without occupying valuable bag space. The secure retention system prevents pump loss during rough terrain riding or transportation. Alternatively, the ultra-compact 16cm size allows pocket carrying or stowing in small saddle bags for riders preferring minimalist setups.
