The Bosch Smartphone Grip Vertical is a brand new addition to the Bosch Smart System accessory range, designed for riders who want to use their smartphone as an e-bike display — but in portrait mode. Navigation is far more useful in portrait view, showing more of the route ahead, and the vertical orientation also makes the Bosch eBike Flow app’s ride screen easier to read at a glance.
Landscape-mounted phone grips have always been a compromise for navigation. The SmartphoneGrip Vertical solves this by holding your phone upright, so you get a much larger view of your route in apps like the Bosch eBike Flow app or komoot — letting you ride with more confidence and foresight.
Power comes directly from your e-bike battery, so you can run battery-intensive apps without worrying about your phone dying mid-ride. It supports both wireless inductive charging (1A) and wired charging via USB-C (1.5A). Note: the USB-C cable is not included.
Two clamps secure the phone at the top and bottom, and a rubber coating protects the back of your device. All buttons and ports on the left and right of your phone remain fully accessible. The grip is stable enough for cobblestones and gravel paths.
The Smartphone Grip Vertical uses the same display mount as the Kiox 300, Kiox 500 and the standard Smartphone Grip. If you already have one of these fitted, you simply remove the existing unit and click the Vertical into place. An optional locking screw is included if you want to add theft protection.
The grip can be mounted in front of, on, or alongside the stem, and the angle is adjustable to suit your riding position. Your Bosch specialist dealer can help you choose the right mount configuration if you’re unsure.
Compatible with all Bosch Smart System e-bikes. Works with the display mount for Kiox 300, Kiox 500 and the SmartphoneGrip. Suitable for smartphones with the following dimensions (including case): 123–175mm long x 67–88mm wide x 6.8–13mm thick, weighing up to 276g. Not suitable for wallet cases, flip covers, or foldable smartphones.
Normally, we aim to pack up and send out your orders on the same day (especially if you order before midday) and you’ll have the option to pick which courier you’d like to use at checkout. All letters will be sent via Royal Mail and all bikes are sent using Paisley Freight. Other items have the option of Evri or Royal Mail. Delivery time is usually two or three working days from dispatch.
