CUBE Launches a New Chapter With Its 2027 Collection
CUBE has pulled the covers off its 2027 range, and it is one of the biggest shake-ups the German brand has given its line-up in years. There is a completely redesigned aero road bike, the return of a much-missed enduro name, brand-new trail and downhill bikes, and a pair of e-bikes that go about things rather differently.
It is a lot to take in at once, so we have picked out what actually matters — the new bikes, what has changed, and what it all costs.
One small change worth knowing about before we start: every 2027 CUBE now comes fitted with Schwalbe Clik Valve as standard. It is a nicer valve to live with than a Presta — the pump head clicks on and off without any fiddling or air loss, which makes topping your tyres up before a ride considerably less annoying.
Road & Gravel
Litening Aero C:68X — the new flagship
The Litening Aero has been completely reworked, and it is now the race bike of the TotalEnergies Pro Cycling Team. CUBE started by taking 150g out of the C:68X carbon frame and fork, and the result is lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic than the bike it replaces — the frameset alone is worth a claimed 6.2 watts. Comfort has improved by around 10% too, thanks to a redesigned carbon seatpost.
The details have had attention as well. A new IC Aero Max carbon cockpit puts you in a more aerodynamic position, with an integrated Natural Fit palm support to take the edge off longer days. Tyre clearance is now up to 34mm, and for the first time there is a size 62 frame in the range.
Every model comes with a power meter and a Newmen carbon wheelset as standard. New for 2027 is the Litening Aero C:68X Orbit, running a 13-speed SRAM Red XPLR AXS 1x drivetrain — losing the front derailleur saves weight and cleans up the airflow, and at 6.9kg it is the lightest bike in the range.
The range starts at £4,999, and both the SLX and SLT are better value than last year.

Attain — carbon gets more affordable
The whole Attain C:62 line gets a more generous standard specification for 2027, and the aluminium models have been upgraded in several areas too.
Getting onto a carbon road bike is now easier, with the Attain C:62 Race starting at £1,999. The pick of the range is the C:62 SLX: at £2,499 it arrives with a Shimano 105 Di2 groupset, a carbon wheelset and an integrated carbon cockpit, which is a lot of bike for the money. The aluminium Attains now come with hydraulic disc brakes as standard.

Nuroad — gravel, from touring to racing
If you would rather be on the gravel than the tarmac, the 2027 Nuroad range covers everything from loaded adventure riding to flat-out racing, including a brand-new Nuroad ONE. Frames come in High Performance Aluminium or C:62 carbon, and builds run from fully equipped with mudguards and a carrier through to stripped-back race machines.
At the top sits the Nuroad C:62 SLT, built specifically for fast gravel and racing with Newmen Streem G.62 Vonoa carbon wheels, a SRAM Red AXS XPLR drivetrain and a new integrated IC Aero carbon cockpit. From the C:62 EXC upwards, every carbon model now gets an integrated carbon cockpit and carbon wheels as standard.

Mountain Bikes
The mountain bike range has been streamlined for 2027, which has made room for a genuinely exciting set of new models. Most of the action is in the full-suspension line-up: the Fritzz is back for enduro, the Stereo HPC and C:62 trail bikes have been completely reworked, and there is an all-new Two15 for downhill. The popular Stereo Hybrid ONE44 e-MTB carries on with updated components and more models to choose from.
Fritzz — a familiar name, an entirely new bike
The biggest headline is the return of the CUBE Fritzz. The name will be familiar, but this is a completely new enduro bike that takes over from the Stereo ONE77. With 170mm of travel it is built for steep descents, rough trails and bike parks.
The new C:62 carbon frame uses a high-pivot suspension design for more control when things get properly rowdy. It comes as a mullet as standard but converts to a full 29er using the supplied dropout, and a flip chip lets you switch between air and coil shocks.
The practical details are well thought out too: there is adaptable storage inside the down tube, a modular device mount on the top tube, and you can choose whether to route cables through the headset or the down tube. Plenty of scope to set it up exactly how you want it.

Stereo HPC and C:62 — one trail bike, done properly
The Stereo range has been rebuilt from the ground up. Instead of several models split by travel, there is now one versatile trail bike with 150mm at the front and 145mm at the rear, offered in two carbon frame options — Stereo HPC and Stereo C:62 — each with a choice of builds.
The HPC is the one that will turn heads on price: the Stereo HPC Race, with a Shimano XT drivetrain, starts at just £2,199. Both frames are completely new and include adaptable down tube storage, handy for tools or a snack out on the trails.

Two15 — a downhill bike honed in competition
CUBE’s dedicated gravity bike has had a total makeover, and the development went well beyond the drawing board — the new Two15 has been tested and refined in international competition alongside the CUBE Factory Downhill Team.
At its heart is a completely new High Performance Aluminium frame with 200mm of travel and a high-pivot suspension design. There is plenty of scope to fine-tune it, including a flip chip for switching between air and coil shocks. One simple goal here: get down the mountain as quickly as possible.

Hardtails — still very much part of the plan
Not everyone needs full suspension, and hardtails remain an important part of the CUBE line-up.
The completely redesigned CUBE Aim starts at £499 and is still the most accessible way into mountain biking. Its new High Performance Aluminium frame has smooth-welded tube junctions for a noticeably cleaner finish, and the FE version arrives with a kickstand, lights, mudguards and a CiLink carrier — which makes it just as useful for the commute or the school run as it is off-road.
In the Reaction range, the aluminium Reaction Pro and Reaction SLX see the biggest changes, both moving to an all-new frame with smooth, premium-quality welds. The Reaction range starts at £999.

City & Trekking E-Bikes
There is plenty to look at in the 2027 City & Trekking Hybrid range. Two all-new models join — the Editor Hybrid 360 and the Supreme Hybrid C:62 — and the existing favourites have been refined. There are more belt-driven e-bikes this year, usually identifiable by the Deluxe name, though many models are still available with a sporty derailleur set-up if you prefer.
The Kathmandu Hybrid, built for touring and exploring further afield, gains a redesigned stem, an integrated frame lock and an improved suspension seatpost. Enviolo automatic shifting has also moved further down the range and now features on the Kathmandu Hybrid Deluxe EXC, having previously been reserved for the top model.
The Touring Hybrid returns in a fresh set of colours, with several models now using Bosch’s new Intuvia 200 display. The Longtail Hybrid has had a number of frame updates and remains the practical choice for families and anyone who regularly needs to carry more than a pannier’s worth.
Editor Hybrid 360 — a quiet, elegant city bike
If you like a more traditional-looking bike, the new Editor Hybrid 360 FE series starts from £1,699. Under the understated exterior is a 360Wh battery and a discreet, quiet and surprisingly powerful Bosch hub drive, which makes city riding close to effortless.
Every Editor Hybrid 360 is supplied in fully equipped FE specification, so lights, mudguards, a luggage carrier and a kickstand all come as standard. The Pro model adds a low-maintenance Gates belt drive with a singlespeed drivetrain — about as little maintenance as an e-bike gets.

Supreme Hybrid C:62 Deluxe — full power, less weight
The other all-new arrival brings CUBE’s C:62 carbon technology to the Supreme range. A lightweight carbon frame paired with a Bosch Performance Line CX motor gives you the punch of a full-size mid-drive without the weight that usually comes with it — from around 24kg depending on the model.
It comes in two versions, the SLX and the SLT. Both use a lightweight C:62 carbon Easy Entry frame with an integrated 600Wh PowerTube battery, a Gates belt drive and the Bosch Kiox 500 display with the new LED Remote. The SLT adds Enviolo automatic shifting and Bosch eBike ABS. Both are fully equipped with lights, mudguards, an integrated luggage carrier, a kickstand and an integrated frame lock.

Fold & Compact Hybrid — new frames for both
Both the Compact Hybrid and the Fold Hybrid get completely new frames, aimed at riders who want a practical e-bike that does not take up much space and is easy to bring along. An integrated rear carrier and a HIC interface for an optional front carrier give you plenty of carrying capacity, whether that is for commuting, the shopping or taking the bike away on holiday.
The Fold Hybrid has a revised folding mechanism and a more ergonomic carry handle, so folding, carrying and storing it is easier than before. The Compact Hybrid is now also available as a Deluxe model with a low-maintenance Gates belt drive.

Helmets, Eyewear and Accessories
The 2027 range is not just bikes. There is a full line-up of accessories and clothing covering most riding scenarios — MIPS helmets, a brand-new eyewear range, panniers and bags, child seats, X-Connect-compatible front lights and a selection of compact pumps and tools.
- CUBE NUPATH helmet — £44.95. A genuine all-rounder, equally at home commuting, on gravel rides or out for a longer weekend loop. Large ventilation channels, MIPS protection and an integrated mount for a rear light.
- CUBE ECHO road helmet — £89.95. Designed around ventilation and fit, with MIPS Air Node technology, integrated eyewear storage and an aerodynamic shape.
- CUBE Vertex and Litening glasses — £69.95 each. Both come with interchangeable lenses, an adjustable nose pad and a protective hard case. The Litening is built for a wide field of vision in a low, aerodynamic position; the Vertex is the more versatile all-discipline option.
- New pannier inserts. Organiser and cooler bag inserts for ACID PURE and PRO panniers, so the same bag works for the commute, the shopping or keeping food and drink cool on a summer ride.
- Sold Secure locks. Several Sold Secure-certified locks join the UK range, including the CUBE U-Lock, the ACID Rigid 90 folding lock and the ACID Solid Pro K120 chain lock.
Our take
There is a lot to like here, and it is not all at the top end. The Stereo HPC Race at £2,199 and the Attain C:62 SLX at £2,499 both look like unusually strong value, and the redesigned Aim at £499 is still one of the best ways to get someone started on a proper mountain bike. At the other end, the Fritzz is the one we are most curious to ride.
The Clik Valve change across the whole range is a small thing that we suspect a lot of riders will quietly appreciate.
